Having used various different programs for adding memories to radios,
I finally got round to using the open source CHIRP

https://chirp.danplanet.com/projects/chirp/wiki/Home

And I must say  how much easier its made things across the various radios to program.
running windows 10 and had no driver issues for the yaesu/wouxon/qyt.
you do still need the correct usb program cable for each radio but its been a breath of fresh air.

I agree with Ranger, CHIRP is a great piece of software.

I'm using it on Linux, (Ubuntu), but initially had problems despite it working before. All that was required was upgrading Ubuntu to the latest version, (for me an upgrade from 16.04 to 18.04 LTS), and everything was fine again. Far easier programming in CHIRP than by hand, plus you get all the 'extra' programming options Wink
