Hi to all,
Returning back to the airwaves after 40 years. Used to use a Ham International Concorde II, with "Alpha" channels fitted, coupled with a K40 mike and aerial, also worked a Colt 444 when I was on the road as a rep. Local call sign was "Pinball Wizard", base and mobile. When up in the hills my call sign was "Kilo Mike Unit 1". Now got a CRT SS6900, thinking of a K40 aerial for the car, Volvo Estate, and a tank whip for the Landrover while helping out with the local 4x4 rescue boys. I'm located in the North West and I'm hoping to get up on the fells very soon, hope to catch up with some of you guys.
