Bought back my youth

Just received this little beauty today.
It is the same rig I had in my teens and just looking at it brings back so many great memories.

I have an SS9900 coming for my 4x4 but this is purely nostalgia! If I can get some local contacts on it that would be great but mostly it will be sat on my desk looking awesome!

I thought I would share my happy moment with you guys today.

Nice to get an old rig that throws you back a few years Nice rig, nice find.

I had one back in the day, was supposed to be a backup rig but loved using it so much I used it most of the time!
Back when the old 27/81 used to be crammed I modified mine with the old TC9106 PLL 'piggyback' mod, quick press of the old PA/CB button and I had 80 channels

Ha, gave this old git a reminiscent moment too

Great stuff, bringing back memories is half the fun of this for me right now, the tone of the rig is even just how I remember.

Mate of mine has one in his car. It's the only CB he has that doesn't get RFI from the vehicle electronics.
