Hi, I'm Jules from Huddersfield, a newbie, listened to SW whilst in the navy for many years using my Sony Icf 2001, cb user back in the day, now have a crt ss9900, sigma 5/8 on a 4m pole, swr 1:2 took while to get there . Also doing online foundation course e shortly with the intention of 2 M hopefully eventually. Please can I request a call sign. Regards Jules

Hi and Welcome from 26CT263 as of yet i am mobil only as i suffering badly from bone cancer which i am being treated at the HRI so cant do much on 11 Mtrs only rx when im out in the car and i have the rig set to scan there is some one on channel 19 not far from me who gets out very nicely i am a bit restricted to rx-ing as one of the side effects of the cancer is a very restricted voice so not much talking for me.

Hi Norman I am nearly always mobile and I am from Halifax, I get out very well on my home setup, when I am out mobile I have copied many stations out your way, I usually use an Alinco dr135UK on a Sirio 2000 on 11mtrs, I hope for a very speedy recovery my friend

Hi Rikki, I’m always Mobil as the better half not keen on a Antenna on the tv mast so I only get out when I’m out and about and the rig in the car is 11mts and on pmr 446 Mobil.
