| Hi everyone. I've noticed some people miss off the '26' from their callsign and just say 'Charlie Tango**** Is this because they were very early members to join or is it a division designation? | |

| Hi Ken,
It's probably because they're chatting locally to another 26 division station negating the need to identify their country. If you are working a DX station the country prefix will definitely need to be used.
73's Gary.

| agreed with Gary, I hardly ever use 26ct, unless its my DX call or first call into a Net just in case my accent doesnt give away my division.
