Hello Saltire.
From the call sign that must be from the now defunct C.T. group way back when. We have never issued CT000 CT001 or CT002 they are reserved for our special event activities.
Perhaps someone on here might know about Terry but I'm not sure I'm afraid.
73's Gary.

The only other Charlie Tango group I knew of was the old German one and if I remember that disbanded in the mid 90s this Charlie Tango DX Group was started originally about 2008/09 ,I've been a member since 2010 and never heard of a CT001 Terry, are you sure you've got the right club mate, how long ago was this Terry on ?.

Terry's call sign was CT01 and i spoke to him on 13/7/1981 yes 1981 , he lived in Peterbourgh . I dug out a box out of my shed which had a log book i kept back in the day , i did a video for youtube showing some stuff from the early 80.s bit of nostalga i suppose . Thanks for the replies .

He may have been a member on the old German CT club ,but saying that if he just called himself CT01 TBH I would say he just made it up like a lot did back then ,because normally each country has a prefix number before say the club number to identify the country calling ie: 26 means England or in your case would be 108 Scotland and they didnt start getting used until late 80s early 90 and they was devised buy the Alpha Tango Groupe Italia , so TBH mate I doubt if he was ever a member on here.
