| Hi All Trust all are well, maybe a old question, which would be the best frequency to SWR my A99 aerial to optimize bit performance on 11 meters using my Lincoln 2, SWR on 27.555 on FM so i get a consent power input to the aerial, to measure the forward and SWR. | If you do that you will get reasonable coverage of the Mids and the UK 40 as well as the bit in between. But perhaps do the tuning just off the T5 to avoid blocking i when you transmit - it will be "near enough" if you do it on 565 or 545 | |

| You shouldn't need to touch the tuning on an A99. I've had multiple A99s and Imax 2000s over the years and never needed to touch the tuning rings.
As long as the SWR is below 1.6-1.8:1 over the channels you intend to use then that'll do. Don't go chasing 1:1 because there's no advantage to be had. | |
