Hi David, it's used to identify you on the air. 26 is your division number to identify where in the world you are (1 division is Italy, two division is North America etc), 26 being England and 3668 is your Charlie Tango group station number. It's used when calling for a contact or responding to a call when DXing (working stations Internationaly) so people know who and where you are in the World mainly for the purpose of putting your details into a log. For local work you can drop the 26 and just use the CT3668, hopes this helps. 73s Steve.

Hi David, where did they search to get an invalid callsign prompt ?, if I was looking for a Charlie Tango callsign I would start on the Charlie Tango site, here, in the Callsign Directory, this group does not post your info anywhere else for obvious reasons. 73s Steve.
