Hi all, My name is Nick and I'm fairly new to radio. I'm starting out with a midland alan 42ds and some other cb equipment my father recently passed down to me. I'm also attempting to learn morse code at the moment.

Welcome to Charlie Tango DX.
Callsign allocation doesn't take long. To be fair, the admins and mods do a remarkable job on this site and their hard work is much appreciated. Last year when the site was being moved and a backlog formed some of us had to wait a few weeks and most were understanding, (myself included). Nowadays our Mr Gary Wilson is hot-to-trot and you get your callsign in a day or two
