Looks kinda the same but probably isn't? Although they warn it's thin fibreglass and prone to snapping - sounds like the old DV to me...Ha, Ha

Not sure if you still get biscuit tins anymore? Everything seems to come in plastic pots nowadays!

Yep first transmission for me was using a dv27 on a biscuit tin at the top of the stairs. Funny how you remember things as the tin was one my x wife used for her baking and she went mad when she went upstairs for a p ans seen it there with the dv sticking out of it lol.

Alan, I'm pretty sure if I used one of my wife's tins or pans I'd be wearing it as a hat or suppository and she'd be my ex-wife after divorcing me!!
Glenn, the Firestik was great....until you snapped it! Have vague memories of a K40, (or K90?), magmount sitting on top of a filing cabinet for a while. Flipping worked too!
