Yep first transmission for me was using a dv27 on a biscuit tin at the top of the stairs. Funny how you remember things as the tin was one my x wife used for her baking and she went mad when she went upstairs for a p ans seen it there with the dv sticking out of it lol.

Alan, I'm pretty sure if I used one of my wife's tins or pans I'd be wearing it as a hat or suppository and she'd be my ex-wife after divorcing me!!
Glenn, the Firestik was great....until you snapped it! Have vague memories of a K40, (or K90?), magmount sitting on top of a filing cabinet for a while. Flipping worked too!
