hi all,just a quick question.has anyone ever had a contact with 343 division I believe its Ducie island

why do you ask, did you hear a call from 343Div?

Its not impossible, but at the moment highly unlikely.
If there was a activation from the island most 11m dx hunters would be on it like flys .

looking Dx proofs its stated as very rare, with no activation's on 11m.

This time of the year & taking into the conditions South America is as far away as you are likely to reach at the moment. (info taken from cluster.nl)

If you did hear a call, its either going to be a) fake b)34div mistake.

Did you get the contact's callsign? If you did you could check it out here:

There are two Ducie Islands, one in the Pacific near Pitcairn and one off the West coast of Canada about 480 miles N.W. of Vancouver but I don't know which of them the 343 division number refers to.
