Hi all, I started to get back into CB a couple months ago.
I've upgraded to a Jackson II so I can use SSB. About to take delivery of a 1/2 wave antenna to make the most of it.
I'm located in Switzerland, and was on the other end of a couple of DX's from the UK so far:
26 CT 141
26 CT 2788
26 CT 3611
26 CT 3621
Also, I would like to request a call sign, to go with the one I got from the other UK site.
Please can you allocate me 15 CT 911 if possible?
Thanks Ian

Hi Ian,
Welcome to Charlie Tango DX.
Nice to hear of your comeback to CB radio, equipment acquisition and DX contacts with CT members. (It's been great hearing so many Charlie Tangos on this summer's 27MHz skip! )
Our Mr Gary Wilson will be along fairly soon to issue a callsign to you and more than happy to issue your requested callsign.
All the best, Victor

Hello Ian, welcome to the forum.
Can you clarify for me do you already have a U.K. Call sign? and if so what is it please. We don't usually allocate more than one call sign per member I'm afraid however if you have made a permanent move to Switzerland then I will retire your U.K. call sign and allocate you a Swiss one. The call sign you have requested is free so if you can clarify your old information I'll sort it all out for you.

Hi Gary, I don't have a CT callsign at all and never did, only 15TM911 one which I got recently. i hear way more CT's on DX so would like to have one of these to fit in better! I'm permanently in Switzerland for 20 years now :-) Thanks for the allocation, and will be listening out for more DX's when I get my 1/2 lamda up this week! Ian

Thanks, Gary, John & Steve. I just got my 1/2 Lambda vertical today, and quickly mounted it for a couple of local contacts. Hopefully, if the conditions are right, I'll get a few more CT DX contacts in the log when you guys are calling out... Cheers all! Ian
