Hi all name this side is Alan located Notts / Derbyshire border, been on the radio for more years than I would like to mention, would like a CT number if allowed please ? Radios at the moment are...Yaesu FT1000mp..Kenwood TS 940s..Retevis DMR..FT 400 XDR..Realistic 2004 Scanner..tempted by the CTS 9900 with the 12 meter option oh and I have a nice a nice little Wouxun..

Thank you for all your regards on joining the group and will use my new call as soon as possible, I already own the call G7 full allocation licence but still love the 11 metre band from where my roots came many years ago on A.M. I make most of my own aerials being a qualified Mechanical engineer by trade, and have 3 at the moment to choose from although I do prefer my home brew long wire matched thru a balun to accept 50 ohm coax..I live very close by to Sherwood forest and the famous Major Oak. 73s for now and hope we can work the airwaves when conditions are good....Alan
