11m conditions

It's busy! Heard english, french and spanish stations when connecting the magnum 257. Recently bought a Lincoln 1 and was trying it out. This one got me about S5-7 of interference. The Magnum gets about S0-1. Anything above that is a real signal!

27.555 is not active here in Finland now, just got home, check the radio, all quiet.

Heard somebody shouting "Aloa Coco Cola" on 555 this morning it sounded like Europe!!!
somethings never change.
But it has been busy over the weekend things are looking up for a good summer.
even the midband block has been busy with DX too.

Skip is still coming in loud and clear,Mostly 13 and 161 divisions.
Amazing for nearly 11pm…

Mid band has been very active here in Finland, good Dx and Germany on 4 watts☆☆☆☆ on a Superstar Lord basic cb radio.

i had a contact with the coka cola man, i was shouting back whisky and he would vodka, and i got talking and he was great to chat to, and all about his family and what he was using and antenna, me the same back and at the end i made a good friend, and i said hope to hear you soon and the good by, then 73s i never took or asked for any details

It was hectic today on 27.355 (35 LSB) listing from Aust
Everyone frantically trying to make contact with a distant station, unfortunately I was mobile and couldn't hear enough but I thought I heard an American... lots of people calling out the same call sign, lots of unfamiliar voices, lots of in depth conversations on the call channel, people being called mud ducks and people quacking like ducks.
Good to hear the chicken band making some noise.

France and Germany on 27.555 and Russian stations all over the midds on Fm here in South Finland.

Russia,italy,france all heard today for a couple of hours and scotland booming through for a hour solid then gone...great while it lasted.

Brazil low but caling t5 about 30 mins ago..

France was very strong in to Finland today, Germany all so on t5, Fm minds was full of Russian station's,

Bands still up and down with DX,13 Divisions this morning and 30 Division’s now which is a nice change and on the Fm mids too.

Hello Mr Chickenfoot, way back in 2001 Spring time i could get Uk on FM every day for about 4 mths , SE Uk was the area i got the most contacts from, my radio was a Lincoln and only 20 watts , even a Cobra and a old York home base rig made the trip, A 99 on the roof.
So we might one day have a copy on Fm or Am ON THE Midds. think it went on for 3 years every Spring time.

Hi Glenn dog,That’s great you were able to contact all the way to the UK for such a long time,When the bands open up it amazes me how far we can reach.At the moment here in London the mid block is almost full on every channel with Germany division station’s and their that strong I sometimes struggle to hear uk stations 10 miles away because they get wiped out..lol
This week I’ve made contacts with Sweden and Norway so I see no problem with reaching Finland,It’s just picking the right time when the 13 divisions are a little quieter.I’ll keep a listen out for CT stations 56 divisions.

Good conditions today, I made solid contacts almost 3000 km to the West and the East. ~Adelaide to Perth, Sydney, SE Queensland and the Blue Mountains.

Nice work.

I had Melbourne around 8.30am but not on 11m lol.
A guy mobile as well lol.
Sorry just thought i would chip in as i don't seem to get anywhere on 11

Not very good 11m conditions in Finland today, was mobile for most of the day, Fm midds had skip for a wile T5, was very faint reception.

The last couple of days haven't been so great, not a lot of skip falling on my antenna, plus constant S8 of QRM from neighbours drowning out any weak ones that might be out there. Only really big guns heard my way, mostly from Germany and Italy. Did make it back to 1SD040 and 13AT018 yesterday though, the later who was running 200W into a 5 element yagi.. it must be his magnificent antenna that pulled the signal of my little station in

The day before was much better conditions. Had some longer QSOs, one of which was on FM with 13TW666, long enough to exchange details for QSL confirmation. That caught me out as no one has asked me since coming back to CB. Still, conditions were so good he easily managed to give me his email and exchange was made.

Hopefully conditions pick back up again soon here. I've heard a few 3 div stations recently, but not one from 2 yet.

Not very good in South Finland so far this week, but I am lucky not to ever get Qrm over, 2/3 signal bars, 0 if in the Forest location,

QSL via email ... is that how it's done these days?
There I was designing my card and preparing some self addressed return envelopes.

Do you send a printable QSL card via email or just exchange details of the contact?
