Around here there's been a few fun skip moments over past couple of days, but nothing as near as busy as it was on Saturday. Wasn't aware of the x-flare Aleksandar, so thanks for highlighting.. having a little read up on it now.

Skip in to Finland now, div 26, div 108 mixed with France and some packet radio mess on 27.555.

Scandinavia is open for DX on midds FM, got contacts from Denmark, Norway and Sweden in to Helsinki Finland, even using 4 w on standard radio and Wilson mag mount on the house roof, use this set up for my local contacts in the Helsinki area.

Missed that one. With all the stations heard from Italy, I haven't any 36 or 138s this year.
Plenty of 1, 13 and 14s coming through to here at the moment on mid and hi blocks.

Works great for local radio, Gain master set up for Dx, just out of camera shot, was happy with Scandinavia contacts on that set up.

Skip was fantastic this afternoon with lots of European divisions 1,13,14 and 15.But spent a couple of hours with a 15 Division Switzerland taking it in turns trying to make QSO’s with strong signals from America on Am.Sadly failed..lol I’m keeping off LSB for a few days I can’t handle another 1 division station for a few days. Have just heard one 21AT station calling on 555, so skip is definitely running a little bit between us, but haven't heard any 56s yet.

I had a cracking contact on muppets, I heard an English voice on 19 which is less common in Scotland but I have had many stations from down South coming in over the last few weeks, London and surrounding areas on the coast have been especially frequent. I followed this chap down to 18 after he put a call out it was an Ex-Pat in Normandy on a wide-banded HF set and an Antron 99 that is so old it was held together by tape, the short skip held up and we were able to get a good chat for maybe twenty minutes or so just using FM, he didn't have a call sign organized so I mentioned the site if he was looking to acquire one for himself, telling him he would receive a warm welcome!

That's great to hear about Alan.
Always love a good story that involves conversation on a DX contact, there's a whole world beyond 5/9 QSL/QRZ.
As many can testify to, everyone receives a warm welcome here at Charlie Tango and it's much more than just a callsign. Well done on spreading the word and congratulations on a cracking 11m contact.

27.555 is alive here in Finland, 14, 108 , 26, 13 , so far, got to go mobile soon so might miss out on a good day, 894km drive today, President Lincoln in the car, so will pull over and wile resting, check out the radio, just me and the Dash hound in the car, happy days,
