just bought and assembled my new sirio gainmaster 5/8 wave. What a brilliant easy design,and so easy to put together,very precise.
I put it on a 6ft pole banged into the ground to test is before putting it up on my mast.
It is now up on the mast and the BASE of the antenna sits about 40ft above the ground. I was VERY impressed about not needing any tuning. This antenna gave me 1-1 SWR across all channels on the UK 40 and even in the VERY wet couple of days the SWR has remained a rock steady 1-1

You wont be disappointed with that antenna, once we get some good conditions to get the benefit of it
