Just got a new van and a new SS6900 N . Going to set up a T2LT on a 10m pole. I can get to a spot near me at 400m asl So do you think that might get me enough reach ?
Old 80s CBer and things have moved on
Also any recommendations for a T2LT
Thanks

Hello Monty, welcome to the forum.
The T2LT is a half wave dipole so yes that should perform pretty well for you especially at that kind of height. Make the T2LT yourself it's very easy to do.
73's Gary.

Hi Monty,
There's nothing special about the ones on eBay. You can make one yourself there's lot's of videos on you tube on how to do it, there will be no difference in performance if you make it properly.

Hello monty and welcome to the Charlie Tango DX Group. I think you’ll do well with your setup buddy, I use the T2LT at about the same height and do well with it. As Gary said they are easy to make but I’m a bit lazy so I bought one from ebay (extreme antennas) there are plenty about though.
