Worked Theo ZS6TVB on 10m ssb again today , strong enough for a chat . Larry was on 28.450 from Newfoundland strong and later Brazil all were sporadic E first hops from here and most likely Larry was two E hops (RX only) . The improved F layer MUF hasn't quite got to 10m (ssb) yet without a E hop to reach a contour of higher MUF but have heard VK on 10m SSB recently so things going in the right direction .

Well done Craig! Nice contacts.
Was listening to 20m & 30m later myself trying to brush up my Morse reading, (my sending is still awful!), and heard a callsign that surprised me....a BG! Had to double check, yep China. You hear China all over the SW commercial bands but can't recall a Chinese ham call before. A few ZLs on the old Morse too. Things are looking up
