Subject: Southern SSB Net Fri Dec 11, 2020 9:13 am
Enjoyed a while on the SSB Southern net last night, thanks Neil CT388 for another amazing job. Had to move from my mobile position due to some local stations who continued to QSO amongst themselves despite them knowing the net was in progress.I heard one say "theres a net on here as well" and then didn't move. Despite that it was good to hear so many QSO on the net and several decent contacts for some including LR 167 001 from Jersey who worked a number of stations from his mobile station with via the K40 I sould hear more stations than could hear me back which was what I would expect on a mag mount and no additional power than the standard trusted Lincoln, thanks to all those who made the QSO with me, much appreciated. In the end had to try the home base due to the local interference but all I could get was static, couldn't hear Neil so had to leave it until next time. Thanks for including me and hope to be listening and calling in next week.
