Anybody recommend a flexible low loss coax.
Using rg213 but it is lifting my tuner of the shelf so i would like to make some patch leads only short but flexible enough to let me sort my shelf out.
I did think of heating the rg213 and putting a bend in it but i think it will damage it.

I think a few short patch leads of RG58 don't hurt that much.

Would like something a bit better than rg58 for use on VHF/UHF but thanks for the reply.

At sensible power and 27MHz, just go with a good quality (Not Chinese eBay crap) RG58.  You can get stuff like M&P or LMR400 Ultraflex, but it simply isn't needed for your application, so save your money.

Oh, good quality 90 degree connectors may also be another options depending on equipment placement.

Even at UHF, RG58 is usually around 11dB of loss per 100', so a 12" patch lead loss is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

For typical patch lead lengths it doesn't matter. I can guarantee you won't be able to tell the difference between using RG58 for a patch lead even a few metres long and LMR400.

Well that's it then got some rg8x some ware i will use that and make them around 18in to 2ft long making it a lot easier.
Never bothered before it was just a thought with using vhf/uhf now.
Thanks to all.
