Hello everyone.
I am Carlos from Portugal and I have been radio curious since I bought a pair Motorola PMR 446 to use while mountain biking with some pals.
Currently my equipment consists of a bunch of PMR446 from Motorola, Midland (LPD433 capable) and Intek and a handheld CB from Midland as well as a cheapo SDR dongle for listening.
I have a strong preference for the portability of handhelds and my current living situation makes me shy away from permanent installations, which is why I still don't have a "proper" CB station.
When/if possible I would like to get a callsign.
Thanks to all the team of enthusiasts that keep this forum working.
