Hello all, I'm Anthony. I started with cb radio in the seventies with a 40 channel Midland Am set with a Dv27 antenna on a biscuit tin. With introduction of Fm i bought an Audiolne 340 with a dipole antenna in the loft. Like everyone at the timei bought my first SSB set a President McKinley soon afterwards the Cobra 148 gtl dx which i still have to this day. I moved away from radio and into computers. Since lockdown I thought I'd dig out my radio equipment and see what's happening all these years later. I currently have a President LincolnMk1 the Cobra 148 a entry level scanner UnidenUBC355cLT and a Baofeng UV9R Handheld which is also used as a scanner. Antennas a Solarcon A99 and a Skyscan desktop for the scanners. Can i please request a callsign many thanks

Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Sounds like you've got a fair old bit of CB history behind you and good to hear. (Why does mention of a DV27 on a biscuit tin fill me with such warmth?! )
Our admin, specifically our Mr Gary Wilson is usually around to issue callsigns most days so hopefully you won't be waiting too long.

If memory serves me right, my tin was a "Peek Freans Family Circle". I'm sure there must've something back then about using the right sort of biscuit tin!
