Ha! Ha! Very Happy

Same here Gary mate. Any new information has to be firmly hammered home, with the constant fear that it'll squish something out the other side!

Loved Linux for years. Recently upgraded my old AMD64 with 8Gb after updating to Ubuntu 20.04. Now it'll run FT8, PSKReporter, QRZ at least a couple of webSDRs and still ticks along whilst further browsing, speadsheeting or other such.
Not bad for a 14 year old PC and testament to the Linux structure.

Was looking back at the Raspberry Pi recently. My only experience has been with microchips PIC series for embedded electronic systems so seems weird having a fully capable 'computer' in an electronic project. The Raspberry Pico has sprung my interest though for the embedded capabilities.....

....whoops, that's something else fell out the other side of my brain. Very Happy

Wonder what I'll lose when I read up more on DMR! Wink

Still bowled over by your gracious offer mate.

You're not wrong Jeff. Incompatibility issues and less than proclaimed performance on first read was enough to put me off.

We do love to experiment as Radio Amateurs though Wink
