Anyone using the Xiegu X108G? It manages 20 watts. Has 10 banks of 32 memories, plus 2 VFO's. so would cover all the CB channels.
Out of the box it does not cover 11 meters, but the mod to open it up is simple & it costs very little more than a 10 meter radio.

Is that dual-VFO?
I’ve just treated myself to an old IC-718 for both a spare HF rig, and 11m radio, for about the same cost as a 10m/11m radio new. Didn’t want to open up the TX on my 7610!

Most HF radio's can be opened up with that sort of mod. My FT-991A was wide-banded by the supplier and a case of just 1 surface mount removed.

We get a five year warranty on them over here, and with all the screen issues of the early ones (mainly in the US, from what I can tell) I’m leaving it alone!
Antennas on that aren’t really CB suitable anyway, so no big deal.

Would a HF/VHF/UHF amateur radio that had been broadbanded cover 446 also? And does anyone use SSB on 446?

Both Oceana and US 70cm bands incorporate 446MHz (We're 430-450MHz here in Aus), so some units won't even need opening up for your PMR.
