Hi, I'm new to the forum/group and just wondered if there is a list of members in Lincolnshire anywhere who are more likely to be my local contacts.
My QTH is south Lincolnshire close to the Cambridgeshire boarder, however I believe I am in the twilight zone as the its very quiet/dead in this location.
I am hoping once I get my Antron 99 home base antenna up that will change.
Anyway if there are any fellow members in Lincs, please post and let me know where on the radio you like to hang out.
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy,
It's a bit of an old post but thought I'd reply anyway.
I've only just joined this forum, been on Ham and CB for a while but had a few years hiatus and just got my radios back up and running. I had a similar question as things seem quite quiet in Lincoln apart from a few on UK19.
I popped a Silver Rod up yesterday, not sure if I'll make the trip down to you, (could always turn the "fire" on I guess!).

Hi Richard......check out the link below which shows the membership (and their locations) from the old forum. There are quite a few in your area.

Thanks Pagan,
Good to know there are a number of members from Lincolnshire, there doesn't seem to be a good way for local people to make contact though other than post a thread like Andy did but unfortunately that didn't garner any response. Maybe it was n the wrong part of the forum?

You might have better luck contacting someone locally if you post here (link below)....I've had a quick look but I can't see any "Nets" in your area at the present time. Its very quiet everywhere at the moment due to lack of propagation on 11 Mtrs.....I usually hear French & Spanish stations on SSB all the time from my QTH but I haven't heard anybody recently and FM mode in my area is completely "dead". If there are any Nets near you they will probably be on Wednesday evenings which is when most of them seem to be active. Things should improve in a few months when the Summer "Sporadic E" season gets going so let's hope it arrives soon before everyone decides to start a new hobby :-)
