Hi all, Grumpy Biker here, just joined the group so thought I'd introduce myself and request a CT call sign. I've been using a T800 for the last couple of years and have now set it up indoors due to Covid travel restrictions. I have just purchased a T3000 for my crew cab truck hooked up to a Sirio 3000 looking forward to getting out and about again.

Hi Richard,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
Just a heads-up to help you get a call sign. The basic requirements for call sign allocation is obviously a first name (which we've got) but also the name of the town or city for your QTH (nearest is fine). Just letting you know otherwise admin responsible for callsigns will have to ask and it will delay you getting allocation.
I think we can all agree that we're certainly looking forward to being out and about again. If not for the usual reasons, definitely for our radio interests!
