Hi guys- just started getting into PMR as another radio interest. Much easier nowadays with so many cheap 16 channel radios available. Should be a growing market I'm sure.

I'm glad to see some renewed interest in PMR since CB seems to have declined in recent years. The thing is, why should there be a shift from one to the other if they both do basically the same thing? As I understand it CB had much more distance potential.
