Anyone manage to work any of the LMS special event stations a few weeks ago?  It was bloody mayhem! People were getting in a right old frenzy. The pileups were stupid.
One station, just kept repeating his call without breaks for around 5 mins at a time. Not really in the spirit.
I just listened on n off, and worked 5 of them.

Well done Jeff!  Last man standing 1f44d

I can understand such an event being a frenzy of activity and hard to squeeze in a transmission sideways.

Here's hoping the programme gets to air over here one day without being suckered up on a money making subscription channel.

I've seen snippets of the programme and great to see 'radio' being shown off in such a way. The only time you usually see a CB or Ham radio on such media is in a post-apocolyptic fashion or someone with a tinfoil hat trying to 'avoid the government' by being 'off grid'. Very Happy

Well done again mate and thanks for the share.

All the best,
Victor

The first 7 series were aired in the UK Victor. So there are 2 more to go over there. The problem is, they show on different networks.
