New to Charlie Tango DX
I'm new to this forum but not new o two way radios.
I have been a user of FM CB since it was introduced and recently have started to use PMR446.
I'm located in S.Wales, U.K. and have an interest in ex Military vehicles and their appropriate military radios which prompted me to gain my Amateur License, as many of the ex military VHF radios cover 4 & 6 metres.
I also enjoy mountain walking (loads in Wales !) and can often be heard calling on 70cms or PMR446 from the tops of various mountains.
Thank you for accepting me. Barrie

Hi Barrie,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
They did make some fantastic military radio gear and nice to hear about them being pressed into modern day use. Some of the stuff goes for fair old prices nowadays so I suppose there must be a big demand.
Just a heads up for a call sign, one of the requirements is for your QTH to be entered in your profile, the nearest town or city will suffice.
Call signs are usually issued most days so just keep an eye out on this posting for when you are assigned one.
All the best, Victor
