Hello, my name is Darryl from originally Blackpool and after 25 years or so, I am now returning to the airwaves....my first radio (midland) I got when I was 15, had it confiscated by my parents, however I had an interest with electronics since the age of around 6!!! Therefore, manage to sneak home made antennas in the loft... I've always had interest in CB, ham, PMR... So bought myself a nice little 6900 to make some contacts...
When I routed through my garage I have found 6 rigs... 
2 Midlands, Harrier Cbx, eurosonic, Fidelity....my eldest son has an interest of radio and so, I hope to. Teach him young..

Thankyou, looking forward to being on air after 25 years off...just need more height with my homebase antenna as I live in a dip!!! However, I got car kitted out so I'm also mobile, on high ground, it's fantastic... I'm new to the SSB world...
