Subject: 7th Anniversary AM CB Radio Activation Sun Jun 06, 2021 12:57 pm
Hi all With the 7th anniversary of us being able to use AM & SSB on the 27th of this month have decided to take to the hills and run a portable activation. Date / time: Sunday 27th June 2021 starting 8.00am
Will be calling out on channel 8 on the mid block (27.055mhz) on “AM”.
So please give us a shout and an eQSL will be available to all contacted (if you want one) to mark the anniversary.
Will be located in woodland near bluebellhill in kent, so up nice and high so hoping to make a fair few some contacts.
26CT2036 myself Mark will be on the Key. Hope to speak with lots of you all on the day!

Hi all Just a reminder the activation is on this sunday 27th June starting at 8am so blow the dust off your AM gear and gove us a shout! Channel 8 mids (27.055mhz) transmitting from north downs in kent near bluebell hill. Special eQSL available and will be streaming event live via my youtube channel, if you ate too far away and can’t join us on the rig, join the youtube live stream and get a progressive number / eQSL! Just a quick post to say thanks to all those who took part or tried to take part in the AM activation this morning.
It was a good morning all be it “ stoveless” and rather moist!!!

I got up on a hill for an hour this afternoon to try and make some AM contacts, but no UK ones heard unfortunately where I was Did put a couple of calls out on the channel just in case. Hope those who took part had fun
