new member introductions and call sign application (Issued)

Hello people let me introduce my self my name is Richard and my Cb handle is Gt/Golf tango
and after a few years away now back in my town of birth Huntingdon Cambridgeshire.
I have had a Cb since Xmas 76 when i got my first Cb (general Electric Mk6) i do believe as a young whipper snapper and used it until the mid to late 80s when other hobbies arose ie girls and alcohol then married and children to my many sins.
so after many years being absent from the chicken box but still having a loft of Cb equipment and a friend telling me there was a come back with some locals i took the plunge and dug out a radio and mag mount and over the last few weeks dug out my late Mums Cb (Harrier Cb hq and literally thrown up a 1/2 wave silver rod (swr) 1.1 on a scaffolding tower in the back garden that is working brilliantly and  spoken to S/N France Ireland and Scotland to mention a few.
After talking to some Cb buddies and advised to join the Charlie Tango Dx club to get a official call sign so please could i  apply for a call sign and sorry for such a long winded introduction

Your profile is all filled in ready to go so there should be no problems in getting your callsign issued. They're usually allocated most days so keep an eye on this posting for when you get yours.


You're round my neck of the woods but unfortunately I don't currently have access to CB frequencies, but be nice to catch you sometime when I do.
