Subject: Crt ss7900 recieve problem Fri Jul 02, 2021 11:45 am
Hello I am looking for some advice/help with the ss7900. I have it set up with a antron99 swr is fine and getting out lovely on uk 33 was hitting people with 9lb and good audio reports but on recieve I am not really getting them back one guy quite local to me was just breaking squelch as was another one but he was much further away. Does anyone think I may have a problem somewhere or could it be those people ? They were copying each other with no issues. Can I adjust anything to give better recieve ? I have my rf gain all the way up and tried several positions to no avail.
Anyway thanks for looking at the post and would welcome some help/advice

You will need to re-program it if you factory reset it with the cable.

So would it be best to save the file from radio and then reset it and then load the dat file back in or will that cause issues ?

Cable is handy. When you get into the radio you can with the cable configure your own banks. Think you can have 60 in a bank a while since i had that radio but what i did was programmed all the Alpha channels in to save messing about. As it's sunday hang on a bit before spending as somebody might have a fix for your problem and you won't need the cable.(you can order it later or in the morning you will get it the same time as ordering now)
