Hi my name is Paul, I am from Flintshire North Wales. I have not long passed the Ham Radio Foundation exam. I have come back to the cb / ham radio because of lockdown. I was on cb and the other bands about 30 odd years ago where I met my better half from talking to her back then and meeting up with her. At present I am useing a mobile set up of a 9900 rig with a mag mount, trying my best into talking my other half in me putting up a homebase antenna.

Hi Paul,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
To obtain a callsign one of the requirements for allocation is your QTH, as in the town, city, village or otherwise that you live in or near. If you can fill that into your profile that'll ensure there are no delays in gaining a callsign.
Enjoy your radio and I hope you have better luck sweet talking your better half than I have mine. (Ham & CB antennas hidden in the loft - not conducive to verticals!)

Callsigns are usually issued most days so just keep an eye on this posting for when you are allocated yours.

I am John 49. Was a breaker in the 80s in widnes. Heatseeker was my handle. Got a crt 6900 now and getting to grips with it's complications. Had a chat to another breaker 39 miles away tonight on sideband. Would love a caller sign as everyone seems to have one and I feel it's time I had one. Cheers Johnny Mac. Widnes
