Nice find and a great looking radio Aleksandar.
I hope it serves you as the new proud owner very well.
(First example of such a radio I've ever seen so must be pretty rare!)
All the best, Victor

Jogged my memory too Alan so I had to have a scour around....
The one I must've come across years ago was labeled as a 'Grandstand' and was a UK27/81 FM only unit and further searching turned up the Atron CB-507 another 'legal' UK FM model. They must've squeezed in different boards for whatever market there was at the time. Haven't come across a Sidebander version though and info is scant so no idea what board was used but would be a late 70's, early 80's affair which as we know were pretty good designs.
That clarifier is ridiculously huge but I flipping love it!
Well Aleksandar, you've peaked our interests now.....we need more pictures and maybe a peek inside?
Ha, just joking - don't go pulling it apart on our account. Let's just say I'd be proud to make room for such a radio in my shack.

The Grandstand was another you didn't see many of. I had a phone call one day and was asked if i would collect a radio for servicing and the house was only 2 miles away but i had no idea who it was. Went round the next day and a woman let me in the house and took me through to the lounge where her 83 year old mother was sat listening to the Grandstand it was her life the daughter said but she thinks it could work better. Did the job and took it back and set it up for her and said i had been told by people i had talked to on it that the audio was very good. The old lady said ooo no i don't talk on it just listen. Funny old world.
