Hi Everyone.
Eric here. Used a cb back in the 80s and had a girlfriend who's dad used a ham radio. Have always been interested in having my own set up. After a bit of searching I have decided to go down the Ham route. I've just applied for free online training to get my foundation license and looking to know more.  Very Happy

hi Eric, good choice on the Ham licence, lot on this CT forum have taken this route over the last year or so, and have not been disapionted.11m is great but can be frustrating when the band is down or local idiots take over. Its possible to make great contacts on 10 watts as most of us have done.
take care
regards mark
