Thanks Tom, I'm working on the Galaxy DX 959 as we speak to get more channels. They are a great radio but do tend to drift a little when talking for a long time, very sensitive on receive can hear weak stations but the RF gain is limited, again there is a mod for that. will show you a picture when i have finished modding her this afternoon. T5 and 10m is not so active very ZZZ now but chilling out in the shack.

Hi Kilomike,I’d love to see the radio when she’s finished.I’m going for the DX 595B there’s something about chrome and a blue display..lol Haven’t been on the radio today as I’m still on site and by what you say I’m not missing much either. This weather looks like it’s finally turned and hopefully there’s a lift on the cards and a nice bit of Sporadic E.I’ll give the Tuesday night Am net a go later on channel 14 and see how conditions are.It starts at 6.30pm just in time for when my QRM shoots up.Must be everyone switching their digital TV’s on after work..lol You may have noticed I have a soft spot for AM,Bit like the first EX.. Back to the grindstone. Tom. 26 CT 4029

Thanks, Victor yes I do like taking care of all my equipment. If i cant do it myself than
i send them off as i don't have the equipment for alignment etc. Finished opening the bands on the Galaxy DX959 and now works on the bands needed like the T5
