Call sign request (Issued)

Hi Folks. The name is Stephen and I live in Shropshire - nearest town of any size is Bridgnorth. I have been a shortwave listener for many years and have decided to expand my interests in the radio hobby. I have heard many good things about the CT DX group and decided to join. I think it will be a great place to get new info about the hobby and meet other enthusiasts.  

I would also like to request one of the famous CT call signs.

Nice introduction there, great to hear about your radio interests and deciding to expand upon them. (It's just the best hobby! )


Any high praise for the group is purely down to all the wonderful members here that are only too happy to help each other however they can.  

Call signs are usually issued most days so keep an eye on this posting for when you are allocated your very own.

Hi Tony. I am very new to this so would not know what gear I would need. But any advice in that direction would be greatly appreciated. I have just, today, received a new Albrecht AE 2990 AFS. I thought I might try my hand at a bit of high ground broadcasting.

I am not really in a position to set up a home station (I rent). However, would it be possible to set up what I needed in my car?
