Hi All,
I hope you're all well and enjoying your radio.
I've recently been lent a new radio from my old Ham friend to try out, a Leixen VV-898 VHF/UHF mobile.
It came in a very small box and when I opened it, sure enough it's a tiny little radio that the Chinese are so good at manufacturing. There weren't many channels or frequencies set up on it and after struggling at punching those little buttons on the front and the microphone I decided I'd have a go at programming it from the PC.........
I thought programming the Baofeng was bad enough and that was relatively easy with CHIRP!!!!
The struggle to get this thing programmed was unbelievable and it made me think about all you other poor buggers that have had to go through the same process. I can only say, flipping well done! (Now I know why I love my old radios with their simple dials and switches. )
Anyway, what followed was a moment of trying to regain sanity in my poor old brain so I took pen to paper and scribbled a little ditty. I hope you enjoy it.......
All the best, Victor

How true! The 'Chinglish' is always difficult with absolutely no syntax (well, not English syntax)
Love the poetry, Victor.
They also say, "He makes things rhyme all the time!"

Much appreciated John.
Got to give you a 'thanks' if just for being the only respondent to this posting! (Started thinking my poetry sucked!)
Of course Paul, Sgt Bilko gave a 'like' a while back but then he's done so much on the forum to help members out with programming files, help etc. that he'd appreciate the subject and humour.

Being a newcomer to CTDX, I'm having a wander round to see what's on the site and I'm sure I'll come across some older posts that I'd like to repy to.
Enjoy your day, Victor
