Hi guys, just a thought but have you tried a different patch lead as I had a patch lead bought from a well know cb shop and kept getting high swr I checked patch lead for shorts/breaks (none) I then made my own patch lead (first in about 25 years!) and everything was peachy. 73's

Hi to all ,the only question i wish to ask is ,why is the switch of the power meter on the 100 watt position , i see no reason for it ,please try it on the 10 watt position , and i would also make a new patch lead, but first of all put the power meter on the 10 WATT position ,73s to all nik555.

Hi Nik555. The switch was only left on the 100watt position after all of the test were done and i forgot to take photos as i was going through them. So it was then thrown together just for the photo. Also i had tried different patch leads. I have tried all sorts and i have now given up with that rig as i am convinced the problem is the rig. later i will try again with a different rig but at the moment i have other things that need doing before i can get back to it. Thank's for your interest.
