| Hi
I’m Andy from the Grimsby area, I have always had an interest in radio. I had early am sets and have listening receivers, I would like to get back into it, particularly now I have seen side band is legal.
I have an old fm set that I am rigging back up to see what’s happening on there if anything. I would be interested in getting a call sign when they are available again please.

| Welcome back. FM activity seems patchy these days but there are plenty of people on SSB around your way and several regular nets. | |

| Hello Andy, welcome to the forum and back to the hobby. There's been a lot of development in what you can use now FM AM/SSB on the mids as well as the good old UK FM. At times it can appear to be very quiet but most areas host weekly nets some daily! Good Luck.

| Hi Andy, you're very welcome.
It's a bit hit and miss these days, some areas are very active others not so. It's probably best to see what others are using in your area and if need be get a rig that covers both bands and all modes.
