hi any one know how to use an icom ic7300 transceiver with an icom at-150 automatic antenna tuning unit the wiring of the conecting lead pin out thanks for looking m0kbd paul 73s

uhmm.. there is an AT in the 7300 wich you can use rly as a automatic tuner only by using your mic... why using the 150?

A few reasons....
The 7300 only matches 3:1, or 5:1 if you set the emergency mode, which halves the power. The 150 has three antenna outputs, so you can have antennas specific to bands programmed in The 150 also handles a long wire input directly, which the 7300 can't

hi thanks for the info you are right the icom 7300 is not compatable with the icom at 150 my mate says his icom will not auto tune on his se hf-x80 vertical i think he needs a manual atu as the vertical on the info on this antenna needs one i whould recomend using using a good manual atu or mfj auto atu extender that for all your help but he whont get my capco hi hi paul m0kbd 73s

hi thanks alan pilot for the info on the icom at 150 the conecting lead from the icom ic 7300 my mate has bought the conecting lead from the ebay site the at 150 auto atu has an end fed wire conector as well as coax s0239 sockets i will let you know how it is working stay safe enjoy the week end paul m0kbd 73s
