I find this thread fascinating, and the reports from Glenn give a good indication of conditions on 10/11 mtrs.
I dont have any way to transmit on 11m atm, but heard an Australian station (43?KNK?) calling in to an Italian station on 27.655 usb at 10:00 gmt today.

Hi Deb,
Glenn's reports are most welcome and he helpfully makes a lot of them assisting us all in our radio interests for CB/11m activity.
We're at a good time of the year for it too as usually around the winter solstice/xmas period there's some great propagation conditions on the go. (Already seen some nice Tropospheric on VHF/UHF too!)
What a great time of the year for the radio enthusiast....time off for those that work and great radio conditions too.

Hello All,
Good band conditions today. I worked a good few station in 2 and 9 Div. The highlight for me, was a contact into Guatemala (on the first shout, no less) with 172EK011, Ruth. A first for me.
Also hearing plenty of European stations, too.
I had the usual situation of a station in Bolton shouting cq and being answered by a Mexican station. He could not hear the Mexican station because of his noise level, so I relayed the Mexican's details to him. The unusual aspect being, the Mexican station could not hear me, even though he was a good 5/5. It certainly makes this hobby interesting.
Working conditions: Static-mobile 515m asl, Yaesu ft450d and a Sirio 4000.

Hello John, well done. Ruth is popular I also spoke with her some time ago. What annoys me about those countries that are interesting to us Europeans is that nobody takes care of the log. She never logged me, even though she is registered on ClusterDX. It's probably some agreement with the QSL manager so that people order QSL cards through him. The same thing happened to me with Puerto Rico and Venezuela yesterday.
The only QSO I was able to confirm today is with Gilles from French Guiana. A great gentleman. 73s Dejan

Hello Sven, I'm really glad that one of the members is so close to me. There’s a great chance we can talk once you set up the QT80 and the new antenna. I’m only 145 km below you. I rarely use FM. I mostly stay on 27555 USB.
