when turning the channel selector some times it does not move sometimes it takes two or three turns or more to change channel or more any help guys cheers ct305

It's a known issue on many of these Chinese 10/11 meter radio's. Cheap encoders seems to be the issue. My CRR8900 has done it for years. I just turn the knob slowly and it seems to work fine.

Mine has started to slowly get worse,Gary is right it’s a cheap encoder causing the problem.Knights Radio sell a replacement for £10 but I’m not sure where or who can do the work for you. I tend to leave well alone as you should see my soldering..lol In the meantime I just use the stock mic for channel selection. Tom. 26 CT 4029
