Nice one Stu.
Such big-gun stations do help us out with our small signals but not something we can all aspire to. I'd need to win the lottery first, not just to afford big beast antennas but also the small Hebridean island to get away from my mid-terrace, parish council, village life aversions to such fun!

Well done on the Brazil Victor. Best of luck to you chasing OC, I haven't heard one from there yet.

Nice one. I have tried and failed to get back to this one on 17m a couple of times in the past. Are you far from achieving your QRZ Master of Africa badge?
For anyone looking for a phone contact to the country 3V8SS is one to listen for on the bands, a club station there. I have manged on 10m & 15m SSB, but not this band yet.

Africa is a nightmare, lots unconfirmed. If they confirmed it would be easy.
In my HSCW days I have worked 3V8 on 2metres but that is all in the past now.
