Thanks guys. Some of the 50 have been easy, some definitely haven't. All good fun though. Don't have many minutes to partake much for a few days so will watch intrepidly from the side line what happens to the scores... Will I lose my 3rd place, will one or more achieve their DXCC??
Craig, how can you forget Gambia? lol

Only a suggestion, but has anyone ever tried or thought about trying to get a informal CT net on 40 Metres? I’m out on a limb CT wise here in Barnstaple & it would be good to hear some group members on the ham bands.
Hi John and yes we did run a CT 40m most Sunday mornings during the last cycle so this would be a great idea to start again but maybe on a evening ? as 40m interG appears to be in good shape atm Will post up a separate thread a bit later on and see what we can do
Craig

Well done John. I can vouch for UT0IC being legit. I worked him on 10m and 12m earlier in the year. I just spoke with him this evening on 15m and we confirmed this was a new band for us and that he had worked the other two with me previously.
No 10m contacts for me today.

Thanks for confirming he’s legal! I was pleased to pass last years total today.
Not going to have much time for radio for the next three days, but hoping to sneak up to the shack occasionally.
I heard Liechtenstein yesterday and San Marino today, but the Es weren’t running in my favour when they were operating.
I still need a few relatively easy European countries, EI, LA, OH, the three Baltic states and a handful of Balkan & East Mediterranean countries. So I’m hoping to total somewhere around the high 40s or with luck 50 by the end of the Summer Challenge

You're doing awesome with non-beam antennas John. I haven't had a 10m QSO with anyone from any of the very small euro countries you mentioned or others like Luxembourg or Monaco as yet, let alone during this challenge. Not far away, I guess just a lot less operators.. unlike Canary Islands where I am starting to think every resident is a licence holder
Nice one on St Helena yesterday too. I popped back home at lunch for a few minutes. Saw that one pop up on dxmaps and checked the spotted frequency, but not a sausage heard on there at my QTH. Definitely going to have to put some thought into how I can get to work DX stations to the south.
