Hello to everyone.. I'm Bob.. 60 something and rusting badly. i remembered having a Cb radio in my car back in 1981-ish for about a year. then came a wife-kids-morgage etc.. I'm now semi retired, i have started a camper van build and i remembered the radio i had back in the early 80s so i thought why not get back into it again, i have a new CRT SS6900N. A new antenna is on the way.. may well need some help with that. Hope to chat with you all soon.. 73

Hi Bob You are not alone lol. Many of us on here have returned to the hobby after a long time away. Also i found it dead round where i live but at first i though it was my equipment lol. You Victor and mysels are around the same age and by the sounds of it we all left the hobby for the same reasons. Many have also got back on radio and then taken the step a bit further and taken the ham licence Victor ans i included. Hope you get your setup working but as said just ask if you need help.
