| Thanks to round Tower and turbo81 for suggesting 2 different sirio antennas (on the old forum) I decided to go with the megawatt 4000 and sirio mag mount and it seems to be doing the trick!! | |

| Sirio magmounts have been known to cause swr issues from time to time , just a heads up if you have issues in future.

| yes there was batch out there, fake or not they had very thin coax and they had swr probs, took it apart and replaced the coax soldering was very poor, and some hot glue was used to stop the coax been pulled out. so took it apart new good coax and a zip grip on the coax so it was going no were, seal back up and with the antenna back on, the swr was 1.2 uk 40. and mid band, just on 1.3, but I use a tri mag and its great painted it with blue hammered paint looks good and at 120+mph never moves, I have a drive on mount to with the 7m sota pole and the t2lt antenna and the swr is great this was giving to me and I won one and I give it to my bro yogi bear, and he use it to, lets hope for more contacts 73s. | |

Glad you are getting on with the Sirio - I was Roundtower on the old forum but it makes more sense to use my callsign on this one. | |

| Sirio magmount if far better than the majority of other magmounts for the CB market. Unless you are very unlucky, it should give you years of use. | |

| I've used the same tri-mag for 12 years. Need it for the Texas or Predator 10k. Just leave it on the roof at all times. Even parked at the airport parking for 2 weeks in May it stayed on the roof. Antenna comes of and kept in the house / car.
