Hi everyone, my name is Phil and I have been interested in CB radios since the 1980s I remember my first CB radio was a Cobra given to me by my older brother, so cool for a 1980s teenager, yes it was like the mobile phone of its day!! I now own a midland Alan and I also have a radioddity in my van for when I’m running around. I am just awaiting the arrival of a new CRT superstar SS-6900-N 10 M SSB I can’t wait to set it up and get started. I’m very much looking forward to being part of the community. Please can I formally request a Charly Tango call Sign Looking forward to getting some advice from you all and Chatting in the forums.

Hi Phil,
Welcome to Charlie Tango.
If you can ensure that your profile is filled in to show your first name, country and the QTH being the town/city you live in or near that will ensure there are no problems in you getting a call sign.
Once that is done keep an eye on this posting over the forthcoming days for when our admin in charge of call signs (Gary) allocates you.
Great intro by the way and always good to recollect our earliest CB memories.
Enjoy your CB and enjoy the forum. (There's some really helpful members here.)
