New member (Canada) and callsign request (Issued)

Hi everyone,

I first started with CB when I was about 8, back in the early 80s, in Faversham, Kent, UK. My uncle came to visit, and he had a new toy in his Hillman Avenger - I knew nothing about CB so he showed me over the next hour or two how to use it and some simple phrases.  By Christmas that year it seemed like all my wealthier friends had a CB in their bedrooms, so I'd spend hours at everyone elses homes, trying to get air time. 

Fast forward 40 years and I'm dipping my toes back in the CB waters, hoping to get my own kids interested. Right now I have a handheld, but am researching a proper base station setup.  Additionally, life took me from the UK to Canada in the 40 years since, so things are very different to my first time with a CB.

So that's a little about me.  I'd like to get a callsign, and look forward to getting involved.
